When you apply for the Walmart MoneyCard®, you get a great financial tool that can help you save money every day. With this card, you can earn up to $75 cashback per year and compete for monthly prizes of $1,000.

But how do you get it? Keep reading our content below and we’ll tell you everything you need to know about how to apply for the Walmart MoneyCard®.

No credit and history checks, up to 3% cash back and $1,000 prizes every month, salary/benefit advance and in-store purchases.

You can request the card online or purchase it at a Walmart store. In either case, you will need to be at least 18 years of age. Learn how to request or validate your card below:

How to apply on the website

When accessing the official website for the Walmart MoneyCard application, you will have two buttons. These are located in the upper right corner of the screen.

If you have already purchased your card in physical stores, click on the “Activate your card” button and follow the process below:

Card activation

In this process, you must provide some data. Such as:

  • Name;
  • Address;
  • Date of birth;
  • Expiration date;
  • Valid mobile phone number;
  • Social Security Number (SSN);
  • 16 digits that are on the front of your card;
  • 3 security digits (these are on the back of your card);

Finally, the result of your application will be informed by email and/or telephone.

Request card

On the official Walmart MoneyCard® website, press the “Open an Account” button. You will then have access to a short application form.

Basically, you must provide the same information as in the form described above.

The only warning is that the 16 digits on the front of your card, expire date and 3 security digits will not be asked for. After all, you don’t have a Walmart card in your hand.

You can apply for the card or activate it through the mobile app. To do so, simply fill in a form similar to the one requested in the online validation/request mode (above).

The name of the application is “Walmart MoneyCard®”, it is free and has excellent advantages. Track deposits, rewards, manage accounts, and create budgets. All this and much more are possible with this app.
