To apply for the Alaska Airlines Visa® credit card, you must first meet the following criteria:

  • Be over 18 (21 if you live in Puerto Rico);
  • Live in any of the following regions: any of the 50 United States, Washington D.C., APO/FPO/DPO, Guam, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa or US and Virgin Islands;
  • Not having had that same card in the last 24 months.

The Bank of America, the issuer of this card, will also review your credit and employment history. This way, the bank will confirm your income information.

In fact, there is a minimum income threshold that is accepted, but this amount is not specified on the website for that product.

If you meet all these criteria, please go to the official website for that product and click the “apply now” button. You will then have access to the registration form.

It should include personal information, address, current employment status and income.

If you wish, you can include an entitlement card already during application. To do this, check the field where it says “add cardholder”. Then fill in the requested information from the owner of that other card.

You can consult a document with the terms of this card and its main fees. Finally, press “continue”. All your information will be verified. The response to your application will be sent by email within a few days.
