  • Stay interest-free on purchases for up to 62 days (two months!);
  • Keep your money safe and watch it pay off at a rate of 3%;
  • Good credit limit (up to R250,000) that can be increased within six months of using the card;
  • You can manage all the functions of your credit card from your mobile through the mobile app.

And what are the drawbacks?

  • This card does not offer any rewards or cashback program;
  • Pay R50.00 per ATM withdrawal outside the country with an increase of 1.5% of the withdrawal amount;
  • Pay a deposit fee of R6.25 for each deposit (if the amount in a single trade is greater than R250, 2.75% of the deposit amount will be added to your fee);
  • The site does not offer advance estimates of what interest rate you can access.

What credit score do you need to get the African Bank Credit Card?

Indeed, this card’s website does not require a minimum credit score for its applicants. However, this score will be important in your application and will be used to calculate your interest rate.
