To apply for this card online, you must make sure that you meet the following conditions:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 24 and be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary school;
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (foreign students must attend a BMO unit to apply);
- Earn some type of income (job, student loan, scholarship, family allowance);
- Be of legal age, in accordance with the conditions of the region or province in which you reside;
- Not having declared bankruptcy in the last 7 years.
All right? Then go to the official BMO CashBack® Mastercard® Student Card website and click “Apply Now”. You will be taken to a form. On average, after 60 seconds, you will know whether or not you passed.

BMO does not allow apps via mobile app. If you download the “BMO Mobile Banking” app and try to sign up there, you will be directed to the BMO website. Despite that, this app will be very useful as long as you have an active account.
